Police said officers were dispatched to a business near Main Street and Las Vegas Boulevard around 8:15 a.m. When officers entered the building, they encountered the suspect, who refused to surrender, leading to a standoff. Adam Seely of Metro's Downtown Area Command Bureau told reporters that police also found one victim, who he said "is in stable condition, and she did not suffer a life-threatening injury." Negotiators eventually took the suspect, Andrew Mullen, to the Clark County Detention Center.
